It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Flexicurity Labor Market, to be held in Taipei, Taiwan from December 8 to 9, 2009, and organized by the Council of Labor Affairs (CLA).
As we know, some of the European countries have launched the flexicurity since 1990s. The system runs well and supports workers even in the period of economic crisis and recovery. In order to learn more from European successful experience, we decided to hold this conference.
The conference composes 5 panel discussions, including (i) flexicurity and international experience, (ii) flexicurity and labor laws, (iii) flexicurity and collective bargaining, (iv) flexicurity and social dialogue, and (v) flexicurity and sustainable productivity. The purposes of the event are to learn from European experiences, and provide scholars, trade union, employers’ organizations and public policymakers with greater opportunities to exchange ideas on issues related to flexicurity.
We sincerely welcome you and your colleagues to participate in this inspiring international conference and look forward to greeting you here in Taipei.
